4-10-03I have found a few cool BBC websites recently. bbcbasic.com has a good on-line reference guide for basic and an emulator called BBCBASIX. This page, seemingly associated with Acorn themselves has a ton of emulators and a nice bit of history. It reminded me of playing repton when I was ten or so... Ahhh them were the days! Of course the ultimate game on the BBC was without a doubt (in my mind) Elite. Before the dreaded thesis got in the way, I spent a while playing an emulated version called Elite - the new kind but the guys website seems to be down at the moment (actually, it gives an action cancelled error... wierd!) You migt be able to download it here (assuming it doesn't all get moved about loads) or if all else fails Google for "Elite the new kind"
